UM MARKETING MANAGEMENT STUDENTS  GRAND WINNER in the BIDA AWARDS 2018

Marketing Management students,   Charmaine Kate Garcia, Troy Matugas, Rhea Grezie & Mrkent Abad led by faculty coach Clyde Abner Valdez of the University of Mindanao were awarded as GRAND WINNERS in the Service Category of the Business Idea and Development Awards (BIDA) 2018.

The MM team was up against some challenging competition as they battled with 13 schools nationwide in the final round.   Their product, Ask2visit Graveyard Services, is an innovative business  idea  that will give people who live too far, are physically unable or are simply too busy a way to honor their loved ones.

BIDA Awards is sponsored by the Philippine Chamber of  Commerce.  They seek to develop and promote creative Filipino entrepreneurs among students through innovative business concepts and strategies.

Recognizing the role of student entrepreneurs in nation building, the Education Committee embarked in its 12th Search for the Best Business Idea and Development Award (BIDA) competition 2018.  Awarding was held  last October 19, 2018 at Manila Hotel.
