Coast Guard SouthMin strengthens collaboration with EMC

NSFA, Panacan, Davao City –  The Eastern Mindanao Command (Eastmincom) and Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao will continue to strengthen the cooperation and interoperability of both organizations in fields of Law Enforcement and Humanitarian Assistance in the Municipal waters of Southeastern Mindanao.

The two Commanders agreed to help each other after Acting Commander of Coast Guard District Southeastern Mindanao, Commodore Roy A. Echeverria PCG paid a courtesy call to Lt. General Felimon T. Santos Jr., Commander of Eastmincom at Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan Davao City on March 26, 2019.

“The collaboration and interoperability of the two organizations is so important  so that we can complement each other in our respective missions in sustaining peace and order in Southeastern Mindanao,” Lt. Gen. Santos Jr., said

Commodore Echeverria was tendered with honors during his arrival at Headquarters Eastmincom and was received by Lt. Gen. Santos Jr. and other members of the Unified Command Staff.
