If there is one thing in the world that is constant, that thing is “change”.
HSBC Philippines recently relocated and upgraded its 15-year old Davao City branch from its former location to Ayala Malls Abreeza. The new site is one of city’s high-end commercial centers, and can now be easily and conveniently accessed by current and prospective customers for their banking needs.
“We are pleased to open our new Davao branch in a better and easily-accessible location within Ayala Malls Abreeza. Hopefully we will see more customers coming in to bank with us and experience first-hand the branch’s refreshed look and the services we offer,“ said HSBC Philippines Head of Wealth and Personal Banking Peter Faulhaber.
“Opening this new branch shows our continuous effort to improve banking experience for our customers and also affirming HSBC’s commitment to its business presence in the Philippines. Our renewed purpose and values have opened a world of opportunity for our clients and we are truly excited to provide our client’s with a new range of products, experiences and by connecting them to more possibilities not just locally but globally,“ Mr. Faulhaber enthused.
A global bank for global banking needs
For the uninitiated, The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC) is one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, with assets of US$2,958 billion at the end of December 2021. Fun fact, HSBC is one of three banks authorized by the Hong Kong Government to issue banknotes in Hong Kong.
Being a true global financial institution, HSBC Premier allows its clients to bank, thrive and live without borders, providing financial solutions designed to let clients enjoy and grow their wealth across 64 countries and territories.
While all of HSBC Philippines branches nationwide are open daily to serve customers, the Bank also serves its customers’ day-to-day wealth and banking needs via digital platforms. Customers have the option to manage their wealth and banking transactions, including bills payments or international and local money transfers, through mobile and online banking.
Moreover, prospective HSBC Premier customers can remotely open an HSBC Premier bank account within the safety and comfort of their homes. Guided by relationship managers, customers can fill in smart forms with necessary details, and submit electronic copies of required documents using their laptops, tablets or mobile phones.
Faulhaber added, “We want our customers’ banking experience to be as seamless as possible, so the only time they need to go to the branch is when they pick up their account opening tools. Once customers have set-up their digital profiles, they will be able to easily manage their accounts – such as enrolling and paying bills, transferring funds locally and internationally, and perform other banking transactions – anytime, anywhere.”
HSBC Philippines Davao branch is located at the Second Floor, Expansion Wing. Ayala Malls Abreeza, J.P Laurel Avenue, 8000, Davao City. Current and prospective customers may contact their relationship manager or reach out to Davao branch head Rita Santiago for inquiries.
