Fifty Davao City Water District employees participated in the tree planting activity on November 15, 2024 at Mt. Talomo-Lipadas Watershed, specifically at Sitio Skyline, Brgy. Manuel Guianga as part of the Davao City Water Consciousness Month celebration.
A total of 350 forest and fruit tree seedlings including Sagimsim (ππ¦π§π¦πππ’π π΅πππ£ππ π‘π¦ππ’π), Bogo (πΊπππ’ππ πΉππππππ’πππ), and Avocado (ππππ ππ π΄ππππππππ) were planted. The employees were assisted by DCWDβs community partners.
This initiative is part of DCWDβs Integrated Watershed Management Program that protects and rehabilitates Davao Cityβs watersheds.
The active participation of the employees underscores their proactive role in safeguarding the cityβs water sources and ensuring that both present and future generations continue to have access to clean and reliable water. (πΎπππππ πππππ π΄. ππππππ§π)
