Dining out is all about finding food options and settling on one. But oftentimes, we cannot just choose one restaurant as personal preferences can be as diverse as the personalities we are with, which is why at times, it is much better to visit places with many different dining establishments close to one another.
Recognising this, the Lanang Business Park created Eskina to give office-goers as well as residents in the area, great food options at affordable prices. Now on its second year and laid out similar to Singapore’s hawker food centres, Eskina gathers together food purveyors serving familiar Filipino fare.
Serving seafood is Popong’s Ground with their Kinilaw and Sizzling Seafood while individuals craving for Davao’s famous “Greaseless” Fried Chicken will want to check out Martin’s. Filipino comfort food is served up in spades at Charlotte’s. I especially loved their version of Pancit Molo which has a rich pork bone broth.
For heavier fare that pairs well with beer, there is Beer & Belly and their Tuna Belly and Sisig Nacho, as well as Kuya’s Kambingan with their Papaitan and tender Calderetang Kambing, Personally, I loved the Lechon Kinilaw of Four Paps, this is mainly thanks to their own house-made sinamak spiced vinegar which adds a flavourful kick to the dish and can also be bought bottled.
“Eskina at Lanang Business Park brings together various food options for the people working at and around the area,” said Lanang Business Park’s John Irere del Campo “We have six purveyors serving a wide variety of food and they are open for lunch as well as dinner.”
For weekend evenings, Eskina has an acoustic band to provide diners some entertainment.
Eskina is located at the Lanang Business Park and is open daily from 11am onwards.
