Davao City’s top wedding and events suppliers were gathered together under one roof for Okasyon: A Celebrations Fair last September 15 to 17. The first event of its kind at the SMX Convention Center Davao, Okasyon gave Dabawenyos a venue to see, experience and meet the city’s established event specialists and their craft.
Aside from event coordinators and decorators the event also showcased the city’s top make-up artists, event venues, cake artisans, and photography studios, all to ensure the perfect event from start to finish.
“This is the first time we organised Okasyon here and we hope this event inspires everyone to hold beautiful celebrations, be it weddings, debuts, birthdays, and baptismals.” said Maria Agnes Pacis, VP for Sales, SMX Convention Center.
There were also talks and mini fashion shows throughout the weekend with a special fashion show featuring the casual collections of SM Woman, SM Man, The Fashion Forum of the SM Store, the bridal creations of the Davao Fashion Design Council, and the floral bouquet creations of Cameo Events.
