Four Illegal drug personalities were apprehended by the authorities on Thursday, November 14, according to the Davao City Police Office (DCPO).
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 11 in coordination with local police conducted operations against personalities under the Directorate for Intelligence drugs watch list.
At around 1:20am, PS4 Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) led by Police Major Reuben Torreon Libera in coordination with PDEA 11 conducted Anti-Illegal Drug Operation (buy-bust) at Km. 12, St. John in Barangay Sasa which successfully resulted to the apprehension of suspects Henry Repollo Sabio alias “Parrot”, 28 years old, male, laborer and Dennis Manigos San Luis, 40 years old, male, married, self-employed.
The authorities recovered from the suspects druge parapharnalias including three pieces of elongated shape heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu, and two pieces P500 bill and a unit color black cloud phone.
Earlier, the joint elements of Bunawan Police Station led by Police major Noel B. Villahermosa, Station Commander and Intelligence Branch, DCPO led by chief intelligence police LtCol Noel C. Asumen, conducted another drug buy-bust operation at Purok 3, Block 9, Muslim Village in Barangay Ilang at 12:20 am of the same day.
The operation in coordination with PDEA 11 resulted to the apprehension suspects identified as Alvin Jalud Acmad, a 23 years old mechanic, and Jemar Valinsona Odevillas, a 33 years old conductor, who both reside in Purok 12, Tibungco.
Confiscated from the possession of Jalud was four pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu and a P500 peso bill while three sachets of shabu were recovered from Odevillas.
The apprehension of the suspects is the result of the intensified campaign of the PNP against illegal drugs and their dedication to eradicate it with the help of the community.
Suspects were considered as street level target that engaged in distribution of shabu.
Further, arrested suspects as well as the pieces of evidence recovered are now in the custody of Bunawan Police station for proper disposition.
