“We experienced lot of challenges in implementing maximum security in this event,” Yecla said adding that they have coordinated with the Public Security and Safety Command Center (PSSCC) for the security plan.
“May matrix for the security and that includes to cover lahat ng activities,” he said.

Security policies, said Yecla, will be strongly implemented for the whole duration of Pasko Fiesta.

DCPO spokesperson Police Captain Rose Aguilar, on the other hand, said the office is still waiting for the final security plan but it will definitely impose maximum security for the event.

“Most probably tanan mga police stations na naay events will be provided with maximum security deployment na ilahang kinahanglan,” she said.Newly-installed city director Kirby John Kraft, according to Aguilar, will come with an  innovation in the deployment.

“Mag buhat mi ug station size, mag come up ug isa ka grupo na mao ang mu-focus ug cover sa pasko fiesta,” she said.

Aguilar said the office will also augment personnel in stations that have several activities.

“Kukuha ng personnel sa malalayo na stations para i-dagdag sa mga stations na may mas maraming events during Pasko Fiesta,” she said.

The DCPO spokesperson said they will have additional 100 personnel from the Regional Mobile Force Battalions (RMFB) of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 11.
