While there were many plans to return and explore Singapore with its many interesting boroughs and fun attractions, none have pushed through until just recently on a quick birthday escape thanks to BDO’s Travel Sale and SilkAir.

Although downtown Singapore is a walkable city, there are places where a bus or LRT ride is needed. With a bus stop located beside and across Central Mall, one can easily get to Orchard Road for some retail therapy.
With the Swissotel Merchant Court Singapore is located on top of Clarke Quay station on the purple line, this gives travellers quick access to Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa in the South via the Harbourfront station, and exotic Little India just two stops away to the North respectively.

Exploring Singapore is definitely a fun experience but coming home to the Swissotel Merchant Court is also a treat. Its waterfront setting on the Singapore River also allow diners a chance to people watch and enjoy the scenes along the riverside.
