Mati IMT inoculates GIDA health  frontliners against Covid-19

The City of Mati Incident Management Team visited three geographically-isolated and disadvantaged areas in the city on Friday, April 23, to inoculate its barangay health workers against Covid-19.

Mati IMT commander Dr. Ben Hur Catbagan Jr. personally visited the barangays of Lanca, Luban and Cabuaya (LaLuCa) to administer the vaccines. Only 47% of their target of 155 barangay health frontliners were however jabbed on Friday by the CHO Mati Vaccination Team.

Catbagan said they will set another round of vaccination in the three barangays to make sure that 100% of the health frontliners in the said barangays are vaccinated.

As of April 23, 60% of the Category A1 population in the city have already been vaccinated.

Catbagan said their next priority would be the Category A2 (Senior Citizens) depending on the availability of vaccine supplies and the time of delivery from the Department of Health. (CIO MATI)
