DCPO reports zero-crime incidents during Indak-Indak, Pamulak

The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) reported on Wednesday a successful celebration of the 38th Kadayawan sa Davao with zero-crime incidents, particularly during the Indak-Indak sa Kadayawan and Pamulak sa Kadayawan.

Indak-Indak sa Kadayawan and the Pamulak are among the major events of the Kadayawan sa Davao Festival.

Captain Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson of DCPO, added that there are no untoward incidents reported at various police stations.

“Ang Davao City generally peacesul specially during atong weekends during the Indak-Indak sa Kadayawan and the Pamulak sa Kadayawan. DCPO announced zero-crime incidents during the events. Ug nagpasalamat ta sa atong mga kaigsoonang Dabawenyos, sa atoang partners from the law enforcement agencies sa atoang pagtinabangay para maging successful ang mga activities ug para magpabiling hapsay ug magmalinawon ang atoang pag celebrate sa 38th Kadayawan sa Davao festival,” Tuazon said during the AFP PNP Press Corps media briefing on Wednesday at the Royal Mandaya Hotel.

Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO) head Angel Sumagaysay announced on Tuesday that the overall assessment of the entire activities of the 38th Kadayawan sa Davao Festival is peaceful and no significant untoward incidence was reported.

“Natapos ang entire activities, official or accredited events, na very peaceful and normal. Walay mga siginifcant incidence na nahitabo during the celebration of the 38th Kadayawan sa Davao. Walay gihunong na performances tungod sa ulan. Nag cooperate pud ang panahon during Indak Indak and Pamulak,” he said over Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR).

The DCPO and PSSO hold a ceremonial send-off of the over 10,000 security personnel to be deployed for Indak-Indak earlier this month.

The DCPO also bared that the city’s security cluster had already conducted a series of coordinating conferences to ensure a smooth and orderly implementation of the security plan for Indak-Indak.
