The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) reported its accomplishments on its Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) covering the period from October 20 to 29, 2023.

Highlighted among its major accomplishments, the DCPO’s anti-illegal drugs operations resulted in the seizure of 108.2115 grams of shabu and 275.4576 grams of marijuana, with an estimated street market value of P768,892.84.

It conducted a total of 110 operations during the said period, which led to the apprehensions of 129 individuals.

DCPO was also able to arrest a number of individuals with outstanding warrants.

“In our commitment to delivering justice, DCPO achieved a significant milestone by apprehending 175 individuals with outstanding warrants,” said Police Colonel Alberto Lupaz, DCPO director.

On the anti-illegal gambling operations, DCPO conducted 56 operations, resulted to the arrest of 160 violators, and confiscation of betting money amounting to P28,640.

Along with its commitment to ensure a secure Davao City, it is intensifying its campaign against illegal possession of firearms that resulted in the arrest of 11 individuals, confiscation of 11 firearms, two surrendered firearms and 13 captured firearms.

“These are testament to the unwavering dedication of DCPO and the tireless efforts of each PNP personnel. Let’s continue working together, striving for excellence to maintain peace and order and create a safer and more secure Davao City,” Lupaz said.

Meanwhile, DCPO continuously implementing its fight against “Bora-Bora” motorcycles and was able to issue a total of 33 citation tickets, resulting in fines amounting to P25,500.

It also conducted 340 operations related to RA 4136 or the Land Transportation and Traffic Code. DCPO was able to issue 239 Temporary Operator’s Permits and collected fines amounting to P534,197.

For the entire month of October, DCPO’s collective efforts yielded illegal drugs and fines amounting to P1,280,700.

“These achievements have greatly contributed to creating a safer and more orderly environment for the residents of Davao City,” Lupaz said.
