\Davao City Police Office (DCPO) spokesperson Capt. Hazel Tuazon told Edge Davao that Bajada Police Station is preparing to file a double murder case against six persons of interest (POIs) on Jennifer Chavez and her boyfriend, Jeff Predas, murder in April this year.
From the initial two, another four POIs are being investigated in relation to the traces of blood on the 6th floor.
“From 2 POIs nadungagan ug 4 po mao ng 6POIs na. Ang 4 POIs sa 6th floor na. With the help of luminol test nakita ang mga na erase nga dugo from 3rd to 6th floor,” Tuazon said.
Chavez and Predas were found dead at a condominium building along J.P. Laurel Avenue in Davao City.
Predas was found dead lying on the ground level, his face was deformed, and had five stab wounds. It also appeared that he had fallen from an unidentified floor of the condominium building.
Chavez was discovered dead hours later in unit 319 of the same condominium building.
Based on the autopsy report, Predas sustained multiple penetrating stab wounds in the chest that caused his death, while Chavez sustained penetrating stab wounds on her neck.
“Hopefully, ma-file na next month. Naa pa la’y mga gipaabot nga mga additional results,” Tuazon said.
