Enumerables reported that for the resumption of the registration from February 12 to September 30, 2024, Comelec has recorded a total of 411,879 applications including registration, transfer, reactivation, and correction of entries in voters registration.
Based on the initial data of Comelec 11, Davao Region has a total of 3,386,929 registered voters.

“Initial lang because right now we are doing onsite verification and database of the Comelec and at the same time the preparation of our precincts. Ito lang lahat ang registered voters ngayon so far following the recently concluded continuing voter’s registration,” Enumerables said during the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas at NCCC Mall Victoria Plaza on Tuesday.
The Comelec 11 also conducted satellite registration for seven months in Davao Region and opened a total of 1,078 satellite/special satellite registration sites.

“May balita na mag wi-withdraw at magfile ng candidacy sa national. No changes at all at lahat ng nagfile so far wala pang nag-withdraw, but I think now meron ng paisa isang nagwithdraw in the municipalities,” she said.
To recall, there were reports claiming that former President Rodrigo Duterte withdrew his candidacy for Davao City mayor to run for senator in the 2025 polls.
However, lawyer Salvador Panelo dismissed the reports.
The former president and his sons Sebastian and Paolo filed their COCs – for mayor, vice mayor, and First District representative, respectively, in Davao City.
