Mayor Sara inaugurates 4 infra projects in Toril

Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio on Monday led the inauguration and blessing of at least infrastructure projects in Toril district that the city and the national governments had funded to the tune of P200 million.

National government funding was reportedly secured during the incumbency of former congressman Isidro T. Ungab as chairman of the House appropriations committee, who had funded several projects mostly in the 3rd congressional district, some of which are still being constructed.

The projects, vertical structures, include a new Toril gymnasium with a capacity to accommodate 5,000 people and is equipped with amenities. Also inaugurated were the Toril Police Station, the Toril Fire Station, and the newly renovated Toril District Hall.

The inauguration photos of which carried in Facebook posts was attended by the Ungab brothers –Sid and incumbent Rep. Alberto T. Ungab, some city councilors in the 3rd Congressional District.
Mayor Inday thanked and credited the people of Toril for their continued support for the programs of the city government and its collaborators.

“Thank you so much sa inyohang pag-paningkamot nga maing-ani ka nindot ang atong gym, fire station ug atong mga facilities para sa pang-gobyero,” she said. (With a report from CIO)
