Hundreds of golf fanatics not just from Davao City but even from abroad flew in to Davao City on April 20, 2019 to participate in the very first Apollo Air Golf Tournament 2019 at the Apo Golf and Country Club.
Homegrown preacher and golf enthusiast Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy led the ceremonial tee-off to officially open the event.
Participants vied for a brand new Nissan Navarra, golf chart, and 6 motorcycles for a hole in one, plus other exciting raffle prizes.
Mr. Adonis de Guzman won the golf cart as one of the major prizes while Mr. Tammy Iñigo won the motorcycle.
Pastor Quiboloy, who is a long time golfing buddy of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte grabbed the first runner up in the net senior division.
Proceeds of the tournament will be for the benefit of the Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc.
