Notice of Water Service Interruption in some Ma-a Areas November 22, 2024

Davao City Water District advises the public of a water service interruption from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM of Friday, November 22, 2024 affecting some areas served by Dumoy Water Supply System.

Affected areas to experience no water are the entire Del Pilar Village and New Washington Village in Ma-a.

DCWD has to temporarily shut off the water supply in the affected areas to give way to the tapping of the newly installed pipeline for the mainline improvement at Purok 31 in Del Pilar Village, Ma-a. Once completed, this will allow for the accommodation of additional service connections and improve the water supply availability and pressure in the affected areas.

The DCWD management asks for the understanding and cooperation of would-be-affected customers and advises them to store enough water prior to the schedule. Water supply may be restored earlier if DCWD’s work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.

DCWD conducts flushing after service works are completed. However, once water is restored, customers are advised to open all faucets and allow water to run for at least two minutes. While doing this, do not drink tap water immediately. Water may be boiled as an additional safety precaution.

For the latest water service updates or any DCWD-related concerns, the general public may contact
