What really is the true essence of Christmas?
For us Filipinos, Christmas is about family and togetherness.
It’s the time of the year when family and friends get together and countless gifts and presents are shared. But nothing beats the feeling of “being present” in the company of loved ones during this joyous moment.
This very essence of Christmas is the same message that Abreeza Ayala Mall wish to convey when it kicked off the holiday season with a lighting ceremony of its Christmas installations highlighted by the giant Christmas tree decked with boxes of gifts. Gifts that symbolize not just a beautifully wrapped material thing but a representation of the joy, happiness and togetherness that each and everyone might give or receive.
With this year’s theme “Unwrap the Present, A Season of Giving Your Presence,” the occasion was graced by Anflocor managing director Ricky Floirendo, Councilor Al Ryan Alejandre, Department of Tourism 11 (DOT 11) director Tanya Rabat-Tan and Abreeza Ayala Malls general manager Janice Parreño.
What’s more special is listening to all-time favorite Christmas songs belted out by singer-songwriter Richard Poon, who definitely spread Christmas cheers and left the crowd in awe.
In time for the lighting ceremony was the launch of Abreeza’s “Christmas Symhony of Lights” — a visual spectacle that happens every night starting at 6 p.m. on November 10 to January 7, 2024 at the ground level’s restaurant row.
This Christmas make sure to not just share presents but more importantly, give your presence to those who need it the most.
