As of Thursday afternoon, only one politician submitted his certificate of candidacy (COC) for the upcoming midterm election.
Regidor F. Cortez is running for the position of councilor for the second district on 4:48 in the afternoon.
“Maybe the aspirant candidates are still checking or complying for the required documents to be submitted,” lawyer Krisna Caballero, spokesperson of Commission on Elections Davao told Edge Davao.
She hoped that the candidates will start to submit on their COC on the following day because COMELEC Davao is ready to accept their COCs.
The receiving of COCs will be at Door #1, PTA Building, Magsaysay Park Compound, Ramon Magsaysay, Davao City.
