Unattended electrical appliances is seen as the cause of fire in Purok7, Nograles Bucana, Davao City at around 5:37 p.m. on Thursday.
Investigators came up with this finding based on the remains of electrical appliances within the 15square meter room.
A total of four houses were razed and totally damaged by the fire, leaving one house partially damaged.
According to SFO2 Ramil Gillado, deputy head of investigation section of Bureau of Fire protection Davao, damage to the houses that were rented out for boarding houses was estimated at P900,000.
He told Edge Davao that origin of the fire was at the second floor of the house particularly in the room occupied by a certain call center agent identified as “Louie”.
The fire was placed under controlled at 6:24 pm of the same day.
