Knowledge, skills and attitude: these were the challenges that the participants need to possess during the second MCM Cup 2018 held at the Malayan Colleges Mindanao held its second MCM Cup 2018 last December 5-8.
With the theme, “Outcomes Beyond Expectations (OBE)”, nine exciting events were participated by both public and private schools in Davao City.
Participating schools include Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School, Davao Wisdom Academy, Davao City National High School, Philippine Science High School, Holy Cross College of Sasa, Precious International School of Davao, Tagum City National High School, Holy Child College of Davao, Mintal Comprehensive High School, Tagum Doctors College, and F. Bangoy National High School.
Competitions include Math, Science and Brainmasters quiz show, Cheerdance, Chorale and Jazz Chant, Hip Hop Dance, Extemporaneous and Digital Poster-Making Contest.
Rolando Bitor, Assistant Vice President for Administration said that the interschool competition aims to provide a venue for both schools.
“The competiton aims to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in all areas, not just in Math and Science, but also in Languages and athletic events,” Bitor said.
Bitor said that the the MCM Cup has been conducted in Malayan Colleges in Laguna for 10 years.
“We hope that it would as bigger as such in Laguna,” Bitor said.
