The No. 1 most wanted person in the municipality of San Isidro, Davao Oriental was arrested on Thursday morning.
Police identified the suspect as Jomar Mamocas, 30, male, married, fisherman and resident of Sitio Tibaon, Barangay Macangao, Lupon.
At around 7:00 am the personnel of San Isidro Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with the personnel of 2nd Davao Oriental Provincial Mobile Force Company (DOPMFC) and 1103rd Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 11 proceeded at the residence of the suspect to implement the warrant of arrest.
It was issued on October 9, 2018 signed by Emilio G. Dayanghirang III, judge of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 32, Lupon, Davao Oriental docketed under Criminal Case (CC) No. 2489-18 for murder with no bail recommended and CC No. 2490-18 for frustrated murder with recommended bail bond amounting to P120,000.
Mamocas is now under the custody of the San Isidro MPS for disposition.
“This accomplishment is the result of the concerted efforts of all police units in Region 11 who worked hand in hand to provide a safe and secured haven for everyone and to guarantee that all lawless elements are put behind the bars of justice ,” Chief Supt. Marcelo C. Morales, director of Police Regional Office (PRO) 11, said on Thursday.
