The City of Mati’s Pasalubong Center officially opened on Wednesday, October 23, in time for the grand opening of the 19th Sambuokan Festival.
The City Government of Mati Information and Pasalubong Center is located at the Madang Public Market.
The blessing and ribbon cutting was attended by officials from the Department of Trade and Industry, City Agriculture, and City Tourism as they are also partners for product displays.
ABC President Samuel Rodriguez, meanwhile, represented Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat who lauded the opening of the one and only Pasalubong Center in the city that hopefully would help promote Mati’s very own products to tourists.
The Pasalubong Center is open everyday from Mondays through Sundays.
It displays locally-produced products approved by the Department of Trade and Industry and will also serve as information center for tourism program of the City of Mati. (CIO MATI)
