A women’s organization in Monkayo, Davao de Oro received recently BiZnes livelihood kits from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Through the initiative of Representative Maricar Zamora, five barangay chapters of the women’s group – Monkayo In Service with a Smile (MISS) got a livelihood package worth PhP 150,000 each.
DTI Davao de Oro turned over the Rice Retailing or Distribution package to MISS of Barangay Olaycon, and the Meat Shop Package to MISS of Barangay Naboc on June 9.
On June 21, MISS of Barangay Poblacion got their Piso Wifi package, while MISS of Barangay Rizal obtained Rice Distribution package.
Another Rice Retailing or Distribution package will be turned over soon so MISS of Barangay Banlag.
DTI Davao de Oro Provincial Director Lucky Seigfred Balleque expressed gratitude to Rep. Zamora for tapping the agency for their BiZnes program.
“The challenge now for you is to sustain this project and we will still be here to assist you through our Negosyo Center Monkayo,” Director Balleque said to the beneficiaries.
