Davao City First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte added another feather to his cap when he was awarded Congressman of the Year (Green Category) during the Nation Builders Honorary Awards 2023 and MOSLIV Awards at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila on Thursday.
The 5th Nation Builders and Mosliv Awards honors the visionaries, innovators, and change-makers who are building better cities and communities.
It also celebrates the dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment of the leaders and change-makers to create a positive impact and shape a brighter future for all.
According to the Nation Builders Rep. Pulong’s successful legislation moreover to its people making him an awardee worthy of recognition and emulation.
Rep. Pulong has consistently demonstrated a solid commitment to enhancing the well-being of the people he served.
Among his accomplishments include authoring more than 160 House Bills. Several were enacted into law, while others are still pending in the different committees in the House.
Rep. Pulong’s achievements in various projects include medical and burial assistance, emergency response, educational aid, Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and infrastructure.
He also aided fire victims and flood victims per family as well as assisted college and TESDA scholars, postgraduates in medicine, and postgraduates in law school.
His office has provided transporter ambulance vehicles to barangays that do not have one and turned over multi-purpose buildings, fire stations, and evacuation centers-covered courts to their respective beneficiaries.
The lawmaker has led the construction of several infrastructures, such as drainage systems, roads, revetment, water systems, creeks, bypass roads, and seawalls.
