On June 27, 2023, lifestyle writers and influencers of Davao City were invited for a unique cooking experience.
I had the chance to be a chef for a day at the Institute of International Culinary and Hospitality Entrepreneurship’s (IChef’s) “Igniting the Art of Culinary Excellence.”
Donning our IChef chef jacket, hat, and apron, we invaded IChef’s state-of-the-art kitchen for an exclusive culinary sesh with “The Chef” Ed Tuazon. He was the former executive chef of Marco Polo Davao, Cebu Plaza Hotel, and Coral Reef Hotel – Cebu.
We whisked, whipped, mixed, made flame, dashed, etc.
We also enjoyed eating the food we prepared.
It was a fun-filled gathering of culinary learning.
Each of us was given a certificate for participating in the said program.
