A case in point is Netflix’s latest hit “Bridgerton.”
People fell in love with the show’s depiction of how aristocratic families host social events in the early 1800s.
The glamour and grandeur, the sumptuous three-course dinner with wine and champagne flowing all evening, an orchestra for the dance, floral arrangements decorating the ballroom and dining tables, and the Regency era London’s ton dresses’ silhouettes.
Splendid, to say the least.
It’s so infectious that it inspired Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao to organize a Waterfront Ball not only to showcase how glamorous society ball is but to give an aristocratic appreciation to its patrons and partners.
The Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao gathered patrons and partners for a night of enchantment, grandeur, and opulence for this year’s Waterfront Ball, A Grand Appreciation Night on October 26, 2023.
Everyone came in in their stunning, charming, and elegant Bridgerton-inspired dresses.
A pair of gloves should have made my get-up perfect but it’s hard to find a pair of gloves in the malls today.
Within the walls of the newly refurbished grand ballroom of the Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao, the ambiance was filled with delightful conversations, performances, and the aroma of the feast. As usual, Waterfront set up a banquet of delicious food.
Our gastronomic pleasures of savory delights were prepared by the Waterfront culinary team headed by senior executive sous chef Gilbert Banday.
A toast led by Hotel Manager Ali Banting and property sales and marketing manager Paolo Rosello got everyone into the Bridgerton spirit as we sipped with grace.
As a sign of its heartfelt gratitude, Waterfront recognized patrons and esteemed partners with the splendor that befits them.
Edge Davao was given recognition along with other Davao media outfits for the continuous and extensive support of the hotel’s marketing promotions and initiatives.
The hotel also awarded Blue Fairy Davao for garnering the highest revenue this year for Celebrations at the Waterfront; Vonric Event Services for Debuts; and Vern Mercurio of VM Weddings for Wedding events.
To complete the Bridgerton experience, the management and staff of the Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao rendered theatrical performances for the delight of everyone.
