ANTI-DRUG ABUSE SYMPOSIUM. The Department of Health recently hosted a symposium on the municipal anti-drug abuse campaign in Kiamba town, Sarangani province. Mayor Raul C. Martinez addressed the participants from different LGU agencies, police, barangay captains and municipal councilors. DOH Region 12 non-communicable disease cluster head Dr. Adimelca Gangoso also provided an input on the drug abuse situation in the country and urged the participants to cooperate with the government agencies and the community to help treat and rehabilitate drug users who surrendered and make this nationwide effort a success.
