Consulate General for Indonesia, Berlian Napitupulu hosted on Monday a New Year ‘ Open House’ at the Residence of Consul General, Ecoland Phase IV, Davao City in the celebration of his 59th birthday and for the successful events in 2017 that highlighted and introduced the Indonesian culture to the Dabawenyos, to fruitful beginning of 2018.
Napitupulu said the open house is a festive gathering to celebrate an Indonesian milestone last year.
“ I would like to express our gratitude and appreciate to those people and friends who extended their effort to cultivate the series of special events like Cultural programs, business matching, trade shows that foster business partnership between the two nations,” he said.
Aside from highlighting the important Indonesian occasion that was successfully held in 2017, Napitupulu also acknowledged the importance of the relationship of Davao and Mindanao to his country and stronger business relations that will boost trade and industry between the Indonesia and Philippines for 2018.
During his speech he repeated his determination to enhance Philippines-Indonesia bilateral relation through a series of activities and programs organized by the Indonesian consulate in Davao City in partnership with government agencies.
Consul General Napitupulu said in his concluding message, “Thanks to the support of our Philippines friends especially to the Davao City Mayor, media friends, businessman and government agencies our task is easier and our mission has become achievable.”
