The city government of Davao implemented a total of 217 infrastructure projects from various sources of funds amounting to a total of P327.1 billion.
This was learned from the Office of City Mayor Sara D. Carpio last Tuesday at the time she delivered her state of the city address (SOCA) before members of the Davao City Council and officials of various city departments in the Council session hall.
The report covered projects completed from January to June, 2017.
The breakdown is as follows:
–54 buildings and other structures costing P163.2 millon;
–45 drainage projects costing a total of P18.37 million;
–104 roads/bridges amounting to P137 million;
–11 water systems totaling P6.1 million; and
–3 electrification projects costing P2.3 million.
The city mayor also reported from July to December 2016, the city government completed 325 infrastructure projects costing some P33.1 million, broken down as follows:
–86 buildings and other structures amounting to P150.8 million;
–86 drainage projects worth P32.1 million;
–137 roads/bridges worth P148.36 million;
–14 water systems worth P7.5 million; and
— 2 electrification projects worth P318,374.66.
