Davao-Clark route

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the leading carrier in the Philippines, begins commercial operation of its daily flight between its Davao and Clark hubs. The new routes are part of plans to expand the CEB route network from its other hubs.

Aside from Manila, CEB operates out of six other strategically placed hubs in the Philippines: Clark, Davao, Kalibo, Iloilo, Cebu and Cagayan de Oro (Laguindingan).

Flight 5J 985 is scheduled to depart from Clark to Davao daily at 145pm, with estimated arrival at the Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao at 340pm. The return flight, 5J 986, is scheduled to depart Davao at 410pm, with Estimate Time of Arrival at the Clark International Airport at 605pm.

“Linking two economic hubs in the Philippines will greatly enhance trade, tourism and investments. It will be easier to source raw materials and ship goods through cargo services that will be offered with the new route,” said Jomar Rodriguez, Vice President for Safety and Quality at Cebu Pacific.

The new route will further enhance the Cebu Pacific network from its Davao hub—which marked its tenth anniversary earlier this year. Aside from Clark, Cebu Pacific mounts direct flights from Davao to Tagbilaran, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Manila, Tacloban and Zamboanga; as well as to Singapore.

With the most extensive route network among Philippine carriers, Cebu Pacific and subsidiary Cebgo, utilize the full array of their respective fleets in the Davao hub—the largest in Mindanao. The CEB fleet is comprised of 36 Airbus A320, five (5) Airbus A321CEO (Current Engine Option), and eight (8) Airbus A330 aircraft; while the Cebgo fleet is composed of eight ATR 72-500, and ten ATR 72-600 aircraft.

Cebu Pacific mounts over 148 flights per week to and from the Davao City International Airport, representing about eight percent (8%) of the total number of flights mounted weekly.

Cebu Pacific has maintained leadership in the domestic market with 37 destinations, 76 routes and over 2,130 weekly flights. CEB also flies to 26 international destinations, with over 32 routes spanning Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and USA. Aside from its Clark and Davao hubs, Cebu Pacific operates flights
