Davao business leaders left Davao City for a four-day trade mission in Jinjiang, China yesterday, May 8.
The delegation is headed by Arturo M. Milan, president of the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. which arranged the trade mission.
Milan is there also as adviser for Mindanao of Aboitiz Power Corporation, whose line of business is power generation, power distribution and retail electricity service.
The delegation includes two past presidents of the DCCCII who happen to be honorary consuls of two foreign countries – Dr. Ma. Lourdes G. Monteverde for Mexico and Ms Joji I. Brian for Bangladesh, and Ferdinand Maranon, president of the Phil-Export Davao.
The other business leaders are: Dr. Tomas J. Monteverde III, president and CEO of Verdemonte Realty Corporation; Junfeng Lin, president of Elevation Travel and Tours, Prime Cocoshell Inc. and Super Prime 888 General Merchandize Co. Ltd.; Bernard P. Benedicto, president and CEO of Berben Merchant, Inc.; Marlon O. Rebaya, owner/general manager of Limatech Enterprises; Rogin Perez, staff of DCCCII; Marilou W. Ampuan, owner of Bloomers Travel and Tours and Bloomers Goldsmith & Marketing; Moner A. Ali, construction manager of Sunnypoint Davao, Inc.; Rudy T. Chu Jr., Enrique T, Chu, David Caballes, Richard Chu, Calvin Siu, Daryll Quinn, Andrea Monica I. Siu and Rullite T. Chu, also of Sunnypoint.
Benedicto and Ampuan are members of the DCCCII board of trustees.
The mission will be back on May 11, 2019.
