Margaux Pang’s royal debut

THE DEBUTANTE. Francesca Margaux Dominique Pang

A daughter’s debut is a milestone parents always cherish. And because it happens only once in the lifetime of a daughter, it’s no surprising if parents put out a masterplan for the historic occasion.

With dad Jonas, momm Marj and brother Matty

Proud parents Jonas Matthew Pang and Marjory Dela Pena-Pang made sure the masterplan is well executed. Of course, the entire celebration is a brainchild of debutante Margaux who parlayed the “Beauty and the Beast” theme into a beautiful twist.

With that collaborative Midas touch, The Royal Mandaya Hotel’s Royal Ballroom lived up true to its name and then some. Veejay Salonga of Decoratives by Jana and Hercs, morphed the Royal Ballroom to look and feel every inch a majestic castle and a banquet that’s fit for the royal court.

For everyone in attendance that evening of October 29, the setting was simply grandiose, every detail meticulously executed to perfection from the tiffany chairs to the glass tables, to the costumed dance performers, special effects and stage design.

Mademoiselle Margaux walked in dressed in Beauty’s golden yellow gown before switching to her dance garb and then later to a royal blue dress. She also belted a song to the delight of everyone in attendance.

Brother Matty also joined dad Jonas and mom Marj in the royal entrance. Val San Diego provided the cinematic backdrop and SDE of the event ensuring that everyone gets a glimpse of the night’s highlights before the curtains go down to what was one awe-inspiring celebration.
