Two wanted persons were arrested in the implementation of two separate warrants of Arrest (WOA) by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group- Davao City Field Unit (CIDG- DCFU).
The first Oplan Pagtugis was conducted by DCFU led by Police Chief Inspector Milgrace C. Driz and a team of officers from Talomo Police Station at Purok 13-B, Dapsa, Maa, Davao City.
The operation led to the arrest of Jhonny Manalo, male, single, 31 and resident of Purok 4, Matina Gravahan, Davao City.
The arrest was implemented by the strength of the warrant of arrest (WOA) with CC no. R-DVO-16-03188-CR for violation of R.A. 6539 better known as Anti-Carnapping Act of 1972 issued by Hon. Melinda Alconcel-Dayanghirang, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court (RTC) 11, Branch 54, Davao City dated October 17, 2018.
On a separate operation at Katambak Extension, Jerome, Agdao, Davao City, around 4:30 in the afternoon of the same day, one Marvin Blanco Ociones, male, single, 24 yrs old and resident of Katambak Extension, Jerome, Agdao, Davao City was arrested.
The operation was conducted by DCFU and Sta. Ana Police Station.
The arrest was by the virtue of WOA with CC no. R-DVO-16-03349-CR for crime of attempted murder issued by Hon. Evalyn M. Arellano-Morales, Presiding Judge, RTC11, Branch 17, Davao City dated August 2, 2018.
Arrested criminals were brought to CIDG for booking and documentation and were later turned-over each police station for safekeeping.
The Oplan Pagtugis is a flagship operation of the CIDG where police operations are focused on wanted personalities.
