Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte understands the second highest position of the land is the biggest obstacle to anyone aspiring of the presidency.

That includes being the punching bag and the target of attacks.

Duterte reacted to the allegation of a witness that she took a bag with firearms saying that in the history of the Philippines, it has become a practice to attack and throw stones of various issues against the Vice President, perhaps, because the VP stands as the main obstacle to those who dream of becoming president.

This developed after alias “Rene”, a witness at the ongoing Senate inquiry, alleged that the vice president and her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte, during one of their visits at the controversial evangelist Apollo Quiboloy’s Glory Mountain, left with bag of assorted firearms.

Glory Mountain is a 21-hectare property owned by the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) led by Pastor Quiboloy in Barangay Tamayong, Calinan District in Davao City.

Duterte believes there is a right time for everything.
