PRO 11 directed by PNP to assist OSSA in implementing warrant of arrest vs Quiboloy

The Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) has been directed by the chief directorial staff of the Philippine National Police (PNP) to assist the Senate Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSSA) in implementing the warrant of arrest for Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

The Senate issued the warrant of arrest against Quiboloy for contempt on March 19, 2024.

PRO 11 spokesperson Major Catherine dela Rey confirmed this to Edge Davao.

“From the PNP national headquarters as per request ng OSSA,” dela Rey said in a text message.

Last month, Dela Rey affirmed that PRO 11 vowed to impose the order of arrest against Quiboloy once the document is handed down.

Meanwhile, Davao City Police Office (DCPO) spokesperson Capt. Hazel Tuazon said presently, they have not yet received a copy of Quiboloy’s arrest warrant.

“Pero ang OSSA po is requesting for police assistance relative to the implementation of a warrant of arrest issued by the senate,” she said.

Tuazon earlier bared that DCPO is willing to collaborate with the law enforcement agencies in the arrest of Quiboloy.
