MAVC extends implementation of “Serbisyong Totoo” program

The Metro Arakan Valley Complex (MAVC) showed its support to the programs of Cotabato Governor Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza under “Serbisyong Totoo” by helping Cotabateños improve their livelihood.

The MAVC implemented various programs in the municipalities of Matalam, Magpet, President Roxas, Antipas Arakan, Makilala, and Kidapawan City.

The MAVC participated in the “Serbisyong Totoo Caravan” of the provincial government in Barangay Sto. Niño and Barangay Indangan in the municipality of Makilala and Barangay La Esperanza in Tulunan wherein it distributed calamansi seedlings, iron bamboo, durian, mangosteen seedlings, and many others to the beneficiaries.

It provided organic black rice seeds to Barangay Kiyaab in Antipas and the Barangays of Poblacion and Minamaing in Matalam and led the iron bamboo bagging activity of the students from Matalam National High School who underwent immersion.

The MAVC also conducted organic black rice production monitoring in Barangay Basak, Magpet, and in Barangay Del Carmen, Pres. Roxas as well as site validation for potential tourist destinations in Barangay Batasan, Makilala.
