Police tracker team continues manhunt against Pastor Quiboloy

A tracker team comprised of personnel of Sasa Police Station and Calinan Police Station continues its manhunt against the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

“Ang tracker team sa Sasa Police Station and Calinan Police Station kanunay nagaconduct ug monitoring sa mga areas na possible naa ang presensya ni Pastor Apollo Quiboloy,” said Capt. Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson of Davao City Police Office (DCPO) via Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR) on Monday.

The special tracker team was formed by the Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) last month to capture Quiboloy.

Tuazon clarified that the police didn’t just focus on Quiboloy but also on the five co-accused in the trafficking case.

It can be recalled that Quiboloy said he was in hiding for fear of being extradited.

The evangelist claimed everything happening to him at the moment was just a trap for the American authorities to get him and eventually, an extraordinary rendition will take place.

This developed after the National Bureau of Investigation-Davao (NBI-Davao) served the warrants of arrest to Quiboloy’s co-accused namely Barangay Tamayong chairman Cresente Canada and four others who surrendered to the NBI-Davao office last month.

The Regional Trial Court branch 12 of Davao City under Judge Dante Baguio issued a warrant of arrest against Quiboloy and five others over child abuse charges.
