Davao City First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte provided relief and cash assistance to the fire victims in Catalunan Grande and Ma-a, Davao City.
Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte, son of Rep. Pulong, led the distribution of assistance to a family at Guadalupe in Barangay Catalunan Grande, and a caretaker at Juario Village in Ma-a.
The victims received food packs, water containers, bottled water, and cash aid through the PPP program.
The office of Rep. Pulong also served hot porridges to the fire victims.
Rigo also distributed assistance to 10 families at Greenland Village in Dumoy, Toril, Davao City.
Grateful for the people’s continuous support of his father and the Duterte family, Rigo confirmed their commitment to help those affected by unfortunate events promptly.
He said the first district office is open to everyone who needs help.
The Bureau of Fire Protection in Davao (BFP–Davao) reported seven houses were gutted down by a fire in Dumoy, displacing 52 individuals, on May 7.
A fire incident also took place at Guadulupe in Catalunan Grande on May 8 and at Purok 9 Juario Village in Ma-a on May 1.
