Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II surprised the residents of Barangay 39-D as the namesake of former president Rody joined their Araw ng Barangay celebration on Saturday.
Representing his father, Davao City First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte, Rigo raffled off rice, tumblers, and two cell phones as major prizes. Rigo enlivened the activity more with a Bingo game.
Rigo also distributed basketballs and bags to the residents including children.
Rigo sincerely thanked the barangay for their endless support of the Duterte family.
He also urged the residents of the barangay not to hesitate to approach the First Congressional District Office should anyone needs assistance. He also wished that barangay officials would succeed in their endeavors and have boundless compassion for the people they are serving.
