The 87th Araw ng Dabaw celebration was more exciting and unforgettable with the participation of some of the biggest television celebrities.
GMA Regional TV brought some of its brightest stars namely “The Ultimate Star” Jennylyn Mercado from the hit program “Love. Die. Repeat,” sparkle artists Liezel Lopez and Martin del Rosario from “Asawa ng Asawa Ko,” primetime action hero Ruru Madrid from “Black Rider,” and “Star of the New Gen” Jillian Ward from “Abot Kamay na Pangarap” to grace this year’s celebration.
Also joining them were Kim Perez and Raheel Bhyria.
Jennylyn Mercado, together Liezel Lopez and Martin del Rosario, spread good vibes to Dabawenyo fans through the Kapuso Mall Show at Gaisano Grand Citygate Mall, Buhangin on March 16 followed by a Kapuso Fiesta headlined by Ruru Madrid, Jillian Ward, Kim Perez and Raheel Bhyria at Abreeza Ayala Mall on March 17.
Prior to their shows, the Kapuso primetime star were presented to the media for fun filled interviews.
Some of them even tried Davao’s durian coffee bar and mangosteen bar.
Oliver Victor Amoroso, senior vice president and head of GMA Integrated News, Regional TV, and Synergy said GMA Network through GMA Regional TV is organizing on-ground events in various regions to bring the programs and artists closer to Kapuso viewers and to express their gratitude for the continued support.
