Resorts are popular destinations as they provide a distinctive and opulent experience and getaways from the daily grind, enabling guests to unwind in stunning settings with an abundance of activities to choose from.
But one particular resort exceeded these expectations as it isn’t only levelling up the luxury and comfort but it also offers an experiential artistry destination in the Island Garden City of Samal (IGaCoS). That resort is none other than the 5-star Pearl Farm Beach Resort.
This beach paradise located in the island’s Barangay Adecor is a resort married to an extremely beautiful and unique Filipino architecture.
Upon setting foot at Pearl Farm, one can immediately immerse itself with Filipino artistry at its famous Parola, the resort’s beacon, where guests are welcomed with kulintang music and served with complimentary drinks.
Who would miss the cozy chairs found near the resort’s Maranao Restaurant and the jellyfish-like decor at the reception lounge which will leave you speechless.
From the design and architecture standpoint, Pearl Farm Beach Resort is so refreshing as one will experience a visual treat.
At Pearl Farm Beach Resort, you will stay the night or have a conference with the creations of famed national artist for architecture, Francisco T. Mañosa, and world-class designer Maria Cristina Floirendo-Brias, the head for hospitality and designer of Pearl Farm and creative director of Tadeco Home and Tinalak Home.
The management is revitalizing the resort as it props up with interior designs sprung from the collaboration of Mañosa Architect and Brias.
Mañosa and Brias’ artistic craftmanship can be fancied in some of the amenities designed with sawali, abaca, banana, bamboo, and stone accentuated with T’nalak-made accessories.
The resort’s latest addition, the Maranao sultan’s home-inspired Torogan Hall, is a three-meeting hall with separators ideal for corporate meetings, weddings, conventions, and conferences and can accommodate up to 200 covers at full size.
Its massive ceiling is designed with “bagacay” (bamboo), walls of banana paper, and huge doors in bamboo sheets.
Dropped mic.
Inside the hall, you will feel like royalty as you will be able to see the view of the nature and you will be in awe looking at the artistry around you.
“Everything in Pearl Farm is about bamboo, wood, bagacay, all kinds of materials that are natural.. What we are doing now is the continuation of the initial vision” said Josu Mike G. Villaverde, Vice President and general manager of Pearl Farm.
Aside from the Torogan Hall, guests can indulge in the colorful handmade accessories and native items made by the Mandaya tribeswomen on display at the Mandaya Weaving Center.
Patrons will also find an indigenous boutique at the resort called “Butik,” a souvenir shop that lets them bring home Samal’s vibrant culture with them.
Pearl Farm Beach Resort isn’t only a haven for solace but a work of art.
