The array of services offered during the WHAPEE Caravan widens as the Social Security System Panabo joins the cause, beginning Tuesday June 6 at Barangay Cacao.
The SSS is a government organization that is an avenue for income-generating individuals to ensure funding for their future needs. Members are given benefits such as health insurances and lifetime monthly pensions.
“We heeded Mayor Gamao’s invitation for SSS to join WHAPEE because our purpose lines with his in establishing this caravan, and that is to serve the people,” says Jonathan G. Centino, the Corporate Executive Officer-II of SSS Panabo.
“The Social Security System Panabo is also very thankful for this opportunity given to us by Mayor Gamao and the LGU Panabo for this helps us to achieve our intention of universal coverage,” he added.
The WHAPEE Caravan is the initiative of the Local Government Unit of Panabo led by City Mayor James G. Gamao and Vice Mayor Janrey G. Gavina, and is supported by various organizations to provide the Panaboans services in welfare, health, agriculture, peace and order, employment, and education. (Sigfred Navasquez)
