Law enforcers in Davao Oriental arrested five illegal drugs suspects in Mati City which resulted to the confiscation of an estimated P1.2 Million worth of shabu in its One-Time Big-Time early morning Friday.
Around 1:30 a.m. of June 23, opeatives of Davao Oriental Police Provincial Office, Mati City Police Station, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and the Police Regional Office 11 – Drug Enforcment Unit (PRO11-DEU) launched a simultaneous anti-illegal drugs operation in the city which resulted to the arrest of the suspects.
Suspects identified as Julieto M. Revelleza, 43, resident of Barangay Badas, Reynante Camagal, 40 from the town of Tarragona, Ryan Balente, 34, also from Tarragona, Ebrolyn Evaresto, 32, Barangay Central in Mati City and Sajan Oasis Gadjadali of Barangay Sainz, Mati City.
Revillesa was arrested in his house through a search warrant issued by a Regional Trial Court in Mati City.
Camagal who was identified as top 5 drug suspect in the prvoince was arrested through buy-bust operation along with Evaresto and Balente in Barangay Central in Mati City.
Then, Gadjadali was arrested in Upper Bliss in Barangay Sainz where the operatives seized two caliber. 45 pistols and a hand grenade from his posession.
A total of 80 grams of Metamphetamine Hydrochloride known as “shabu” were confiscated in three operations.
Mati City Mayor Carlo Luis Rabat lauded the opeeatives for the success of the operation leading to the arrest of the big-time drug suspects in province.
Rabat said he is hopping for more and arrest of drug suspects in the city.
For his part, DOPPO Provincial Director Sr. Supt. Harry G. Espela said the police will continue its anti-illegal drugs operations in the whole province to attain the campaign of President Rodrigo R. Duterte making the Philippines a drug-free country.
