Damosa Land reaps international honors

For land development projects in Davao City and in the region

Damosa Land Incorporated reaped international recognition for its land development projects in Davao City and the rest of the region.

DLI won top awards from the recently concluded 5th Annual PropertyGuru Philippines Property Award 2017, said DLI president Ricardo Floirendo Lagdameo during the weekly Habi at Kape press conference at Abreeza Mall in Davao City on Wednesday.

The awarding was held in Manila last May 4 and organized by the PropertyGuru Group, Asia’s leading online property group.

Lagdameo said that DLI earned the top spot for Best Residential Development in Davao for its Damosa Fairlane.

Damosa Fairlane, DLI’s first venture into residential development, was also highly recommended for Best Residential Landscape Architectural Design during the event, he added.

Another DLI venture, the 6-towe condominium Seawind, was also bagged the Highly Commended Award under the Best Residential Development in Davao category.

Construction of the tower 3 of Seawind will start by June of this year, Lagdameo said.

Samal development

Lagdameo also told reporters during the first conference that DLI is set to commence its land development project in the Island Garden City of Samal by the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year.

“DLI’s Samal project will be a community and at the same time a commercial center. We are also planning to establish a hotel in the area,” he added.

The Samal community and commercial center will be established within a 12-hecare area in the island, he said.

Lagdameo also believed that a bridge that will connect Samal Island to Davao City and the rest of Mindanao will spur development in the island city.

He said that more investments will pour into Samal Island if it is directly connected to mainland Mindanao.
