The ongoing Pinoy SME Expo 2017 hosted by the Abreeza Mall aims to give support to the micro, small and medium enterprises.
The event was organized by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Council together with the Davao City Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Pie Maruya of the City Tourism Office said the event, that will end July 6, is an avenue to showcase the products and services micro, small and medium enterprises.
The participants can also test their products to know what part of the product or services should be improved. During the seven day period of the event there are trainings that are being conducted to help improve the knowledge of the entrepreneurs.
Maruya said they had been conducting seminars since 2011. The topic of the discussion varies every year and this year’s topic is the same which is the Customer Service Protocol. The inputs given to the entrepreneurs are the same inputs that are used in the Tourist Police Seminars.
They have different products but have one common goal and that is to improve their products. The exhibitors included Florence Home Kitchen Best-selling product is the Gourmet Tuyo in Olive Oil they are located at the Pasalubong Center near People’s Park. Ayana- Siling- Kinamay’s best-selling products are Nature Chilli Sauce and Raw Honey their Items can be bought at Victoria Plaza Supermarket. Gellato on the Road’s uses Non-Dairy milk that makes their product different. Their best-selling items are Pistacio Ice crea, Almond Chocolate Ice Cream and Durian Flavor Ice Cream. They have stalls located at Victoria Plaza Food Courta and 3rd floor Gaisano Bajada near Globe Telecom.
